Welcome back to the weekly #funseekingkids round-up post. This is where I will share my  4 favourite photos linked up to mine and Susie’s (This Is Me Now) Instagram Community. If you missed the launch post and have no idea what I’m talking about you can read it here: #funseekingkids – A New Instagram Community.

Susie is away again this week and next so I get to choose all eight favourites again! As always it was an impossibly hard choice. After an hour of deliberating I had it down to 17 and then I enlisted the help of my 8yr old. I have to say, he’s got a pretty good eye for a great photo.

This picture is so beautiful; the hair, the hat, the dress, the flower, that gorgeous smile, you can’t help but feel happy and summery just looking at it. You can read more from Baby Isabella at Dear Mummy Blog.

This man and this little girl, so much love. Happy Father's Day! #lovelittleloves

A post shared by Little and The Big Ones (@lovelittleloves) on

This is one very happy little girl, that smile is infectious. My daughter is a complete Daddy’s girl too and pictures like this always make my heart melt. You can read more about ‘Little’ over on the blog lovelittleloves.

sianthemamastory

It’s always a proud moment when our children overcome their own fears and accomplish something. Sian’s daughter Seren looks so proud of herself too, and what a beautiful dress! You can read more from Sian on her blog The Mama Story.

We've mostly been hiding inside from the heatwave since I have neither the patience to reapply suncream to three children every half an hour, or a complexion that does well when exposed to even a moderate amount of sun. But, last night we went to the beach for a couple of hours after dinner and it was absolutely glorious. I might try to convince Carl to go again tonight actually 🤞🏻 I'm a bit absent from social media at the moment, it's not a big thing I've just made a conscious decision to only post if I feel like it, which turns out isn't that much at the moment. Sometimes it's nice to just be part of the fun rather than documenting it, and sometimes I love getting my camera out and laying on the floor like a loon to get the right shot. I feel like I might have reached the end of my enthusiasm for blogging but we shall see. I might suddenly discover I have lots more I want to share 😉 Hope everyone's having a lovely June and happy Summer Solstice!

I love this picture of Louise’s daughter on an evening trip to the beach. What a great idea to venture down after tea when it’s cooler, I really wish we lived close enough to a beach to do this, it sounds like the perfect way to end the day. You can read more from Louise on her blog Squished Blueberries.

What better way to cool down in this hot weather than dipping your toes in a rock pool. This picture was taken in Staithes which is one of my favourite places, such a quaint old seaside town, and it’s reminded me we are way overdue another visit.

woodlightadventures

Natalia’s youngest son looks so adorable sat there with his enormous hotdog, it’s also no surprise from this shot that Natalia runs a photography studio, such a beautiful moment captured. You can read more from Natalia on her website Natalia Karali.

lifeatcookscabin

I love the relationship between children and their pets and this looks like one very special bond. The way her dog is just patiently watching her is beautiful. You can read more from Sherry on her blog Life at Cooks Cabin.

hotpinkwellingtons

It really is the little things in life that bring the most joy. We could learn a lot from kids and the excitement they feel over something so simple as throwing a stone in a pond. Katy’s son Max looks over the moon and I can almost hear his giggles from here. You can read more rom Katy on her blog Hot Pink Wellingtons.

Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:

It certainly looks like they are having a great holiday and I’m very jealous of that pool, we could have done with one like that this week, I think I’m just a touch too big for the kids paddling pool!

That’s all for this week, thank you so much to everyone who joins in. Please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. I’ll be back again next week with another eight favourites x
