Welcome back to the weekly #funseekingkids round-up post. This is where I will share my 4 favourite photos linked up to mine and Susie’s (This Is Me Now) Instagram Community. If you missed the launch post and have no idea what I’m talking about you can read it here: #funseekingkids – A New Instagram Community.
Susie is back from her holidays, so normal service has resumed this week, yay! Although, if I thought it was hard choosing only eight last week it was doubly hard this week picking only four.
Love how confident this little dude is in the water. At just 5 he can swim without armbands and loves nothing more than diving under the surface and swimming under the water. It's a confidence I hope he'll hang on to when we move. This little guy is most definitely going to miss swimming in our pool every day each summer and I hope he grows to treasure his memories of learning to swim all by himself in his own pool and realises just how lucky he is.
My son used to hate the water and screamed and cried before every swimming lesson, until we went on holiday and they had a salt water pool that didn’t hurt his eyes. Watching his confidence grow and seeing him overcome his fear and jump in over and over is one of my proudest and happiest memories. I love the confidence Kate’s son has in this picture and the sheer joy on his face as he jumps in is priceless. You can read more from Kate on her blog Mum Reinvented.
I love this picture, Andrea’s son ‘Mayhem’ is clearly very proud of his blue finger and I’m sure his Dad loved the present he made him. You can read more from Andrea on her blog Topsy Turvy Tribe.
"I look like a rainbow mummy" 🌈 – this one is always my sunshine through the rain. 💕 The school did a colour run today in aid of @clairehouse I volunteered to be a 'colour thrower' and luckily the rain held off and the kids had a fab time (so did I) getting drenched in colour. #colourrun #colourrun2017 #colourfulworld #rainbowcolours #funseekingkids #highlightsofhappy #kcacols
I’ve never taken part in a colour run but they always look so much fun and Helen’s daughter clearly enjoyed taking part in this one, and for such a good cause too. You can read more from Helen on her blog Talking Mums.
Hooray for a sunny Saturday! Our plans had a last minute change as we were originally off to see Adele so here's hoping she can reschedule 😢What's everyone up to this weekend?. . . . . #childhoodunplugged #simplethings #outdoorsandhappy #letthembelittle #rememberingthesedays #simplychildren #lifeofadventure #countrykidsfun #myfamilyadventures #outdoorsfamily #livingfearlesslyauthentic #ohmamamoment #candidchildhood #totsphoto #funseekingkids #photographymumma #hampshiremummy #childhoodunplugged #lovelifeoutside #moretoexploreoutdoors
Sherry’s daughter J was certainly flying high in this picture, such a perfectly timed shot. You can read more from Sherry on her blog Life at Cooks Cabin.

Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:
H O U S E N E W S ! We finally sold our house whilst we were away in Spain and today we've had an offer accepted on one. Hoo-bloody-ray! I'm nervous and excited in equal measure. It'll be a new village lifestyle for us to bring Miss Belle up in. Now to learn the art of patience… I'm already thinking about furniture and decorating her room!
Coming back from holiday and getting back to reality can sometimes be a little depressing but Susie has had a very exciting week indeed! I love this picture of Miss Belle playing with her little house, its so sweet. I bet she can’t wait to help decorate her new room.
That’s all for this week, please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. We’ll be back again next week with another four favourites each x
