We’re over half-way through the school holidays now and the weeks seem to be flying by. I don’t feel like we’ve done half of what we set out to at the start of the summer but we’re having a great time none the less. Judging by all the fantastic pictures linked up again this week, most of you are too.

I always wanted to be able to hula hoop when I was little but never could get the hang of it. Jo’s daughter really seems to have a knack for it though with not one hoop, but six! Really great action shot. You can read more from Jo on her blog Organised Jo.

The end of nap time can sometimes be a bit stressful but this little one makes it look easy. He definitely looks like he’s up for more adventure and not sleep.

F R E E D O M ! Today I had a moment of clarity where I thought, what the feck am I doing?! I have been slowly driving myself insane with the yoyoing of potty training. The is she, isn't she ready debate we've had every day for the last week. The yes moments! The accidents. The other yes moments! The other accidents… The guilt that I'm getting so frustrated over something she can't help 😢. She's only little. After 10 days, and a whole lot of crying, I decided enough was enough. We visited beautiful @pensthorpe_natural_park for a breather. I'm not saying the potty is going away. If she asks she can go. But I'm not ditching the pull ups either. No it's not what the books or the internet say we should do, but we will find our way. And….. breathe!
