I’m still feeling really ill and can’t remember the last time I had a full night’s sleep with L being poorly too so I’m going to keep this one short and sweet and get straight to it.
My favourite post from last week’s link-up was from Jaki at JakiJelz with We Take Things For Granted. It can be so easy to get caught up in our daily struggles and forget to recognise all the things we have to be grateful for. It was a timely reminder for me when I was feeling sorry myself this week and I’ve been making a conscious effort to focus on the good. Like all those extra cuddles from L when she needs me and the fact my super sweet son just made me a ‘snuggle seat’ (picture blankets, cushions and a very large teddy on the reclining part of the sofa) and an ‘I Love You’ sign out of his Kapla blocks as a surprise to try and make me feel better. Cue all the ahhh’s.
