Welcome back to the #FamilyFunLinky, the best place to share 2 of your wonderful blog posts each week and find some other amazing ones to read and share.
I hope you’ve all had a great weekend. It was a bit mixed for us. Keith went back to Sea on Friday morning and it was my son’s 9th Birthday on Saturday. It was hard saying goodbye, and such bad timing as he was so close to being here for his birthday. We made the best of it though and had a lovely day on Saturday and then a party on Sunday. It was my first time hosting a kids party completely alone, in the past if Keith has been away Ive usually roped my mum into helping and some of the parents have stuck around too. He only had a handful of friends round though and they were all amazing, it was the easiest and least stressful kids party I have ever experienced. I’d gladly invite them all round every weekend, although I wouldn’t bother with all the food as they didn’t touch it. I’d have been better off just throwing them all a bag a crisps!
In the meantime, my favourite post from last week’s link-up was from This Scribbler Mum with Today, I am – inspired. I love this idea of picking a word each day to keep you focused on positive feelings and emotions, I’m definitely going to be giving this a go.
