Welcome back to the #funseekingkids round-up. Every month Susie (This Is Me Now) and I share our favourite 8 pictures linked up to our Instagram Community. If you’d like to take part just add #funseekingkids to any pictures of your kids having fun. You can find out more here.

If you missed the announcement in the last round-up post, we have now decided to make this a monthly, rather than weekly, round-up and will be choosing 8 favourites each at a time instead of 4.

Click through to see my favourite eight pictures linked up to #funseekingkids this past month and find some great new Instagram accounts to follow ...

What a gorgeous picture capturing so much joy and perhaps a hint of cheekiness. You can catch more from Jade on her blog Raw Childhood.

I used to love jumping waves when I was a kid. For some strange reason my two look at me like I’m daft when I suggest it so I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. You can catch more on the Typical Mummy blog.

I think the caption says it all for this one! You can catch more from Elaine on her blog Entertaining Eliot.

Sat having a picnic with my boy today and was taken back over twenty years thinking of the many wonderful picnics I shared with my Nana and Grandad in Princes Street Gardens. So many wonderful cherished memories and seeing the happiness and joy on lewis's face today fills me with hope that I get to make many more memories in this special place. Back then I ate cheese and crackers but Lewis is more a fan of a Swiss cheese sandwich! #joysofamum #rainbowofadventures #candidchildhood #howihue #myhappycapture #documentourdays #littlefamiliesofig #highlightsofhappy #collectbeautifulmoments #curiousandspirited #littleandwild #wonderfuleveryday #learningthroughplay #funwithmyboy #happydays #funseekingkids #playislearning #cherisheverymoment #bettyandedithmay

I love how her bunny is joining in with the picnic. Princes Street Gardens are a certainly a beautiful spot for it. You can catch more from Steph on her blog Joys of A Mum.

Bless her, look at the look on her face. Love it! You can catch more from Mads on her Facebook page The Speed Bump.

I can definitely relate to the busy feeling since returning to work myself. A nice meandering walk sounds like the perfect antidote. You can catch more from Nikki on her blog Tinker and Totsy.

How adorable do these sisters look in their matching outfits. You can catch more on the Mumful Minutes facebook page.

Oh to be sat on the beach in the sunshine. Come on Summer, where are you? You can catch more from Eva on her blog Captain Bobcat.

Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this past month:

Me and my grumpy chicken! 🐓 Woken up with new found peace after my little “stay at home Mum/what am I doing with my life?” wobble I had yesterday (see my Insta stories for more..) I’ve realised that it’s absolutely ok to just focus on my babies for a bit longer. And this one is making me super proud at the moment (when she’s not hitting her brother 🙄) so I’ve written a little blog post all about it. Link in my profile. She’s at home today and we have baking on the agenda, our favourite soft play class and a friend popping by later for a cuppa and a jump on the trampoline. It’s not raining! Hurrah! ☀️#grumpychicken #funseekingkids #thisgirlcan #proudmama #motherhoodrising #therealparenthood #thisparentinglife

I’m loving the grumpy chicken poses!

That’s all for this month, please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. We’ll be back again the first Thursday of June with another eight favourites each x
