Welcome back to the weekly #funseekingkids round-up post. This is where I will share my  4 favourite photos linked up to mine and Susie’s (This Is Me Now) Instagram Community. If you missed the launch post and have no idea what I’m talking about you can read it here: #funseekingkids – A New Instagram Community.

This has been the final week of the holidays for many of us with one last weekend to go before the mayhem of school mornings returns and we have had some amazing pictures linked up as always. At the time of writing we are only 20 away from reaching 6,000! Keep them coming, I’m looking forward to seeing all the back to school shots next week and I’m sure there will be quite a few ‘first day of school’ pictures too. Here are my favourites from the past week:

Our trip took us Alnwick Castle (where we learned we'd been pronouncing it wrong all the time!) All holiday she'd been asking "is the Harry Potter Castle tomorrow?" "I can't wait for Broomstick training". Unfortunately when we arrived at 10:45am all the tickets were gone. I felt so bad for her that the one thing she'd been looking forward to she couldn't join in! So we bought her a broom from the shop and did our own #broomsticktraining . #happygirlhere #runwildmychild #alnwickcastle #offshegoes #letsgolittles #funseekingkids

I’ve been wanting to visit Alnwick Castle for years now and this photo makes me want to go even more. Such a shame Helen’s daughter missed out on the broomstick training but from the look of this shot she didn’t need it. You can catch more from Helen on her blog Talking Mums.

🌟these two🌟 today started well with a trip to Garsons Farm for Charlie and me while Olive had a nap. Got home ready for a garden day and Olive fell on the concrete path. Huge bump on her head. Me panicking, Tom keeping calm. Olive is such an adventurer that there is no stopping her and so she definitely has more bumps and bashes then Charlie ever did. After the trauma we ended up having a lovely day just the 4 of us in the garden. They play together now which is so nice to see. I know I should enjoy it while it lasts 😉. It's an aperol spritz afternoon for me and an outside bath for them #summertime #siblinglove

These two look like they are having so much fun and the way Olive is looking at her big brother is gorgeous. You can catch more from Harriet on her blog Mummalummas.

Hooray for the bank holiday weekend! Hubby is downstairs with the kids so I get to go back to sleep and have a lie in. For the first time in a long time we have zero plans for today. It's what dreams are made of 😴❤️ #saturday

I love the tender way that Natalie’s daughter is stroking her dog. They seem to be enjoying a quiet moment together dreaming of faraway things, so cute. You can catch more from Natalie on her blog Mum In Brum.

You all know I love a good action shot and these girls look like they are having so much fun splashing about in the sun.

Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:

S A N D It's all fun and games until they start chucking the stuff around isn't it?! Today we took an impromptu trip to Wells-next-the-sea to make the most of the lovely weather. I made the most epic sandcastle thanks to a massive mount that someone else had already started. I nearly cried when Miss Belle knocked one of them down. She was scared of the waves as usual. And I came home with an extraordinary amount of sand down by bra thanks to a lovely handful she put there. But still, that sandcastle though… #lifegoals

A post shared by Parenting Blogger Susie Hawes (@susiehawes) on

You really can’t beat a day at the beach. If only that sand didn’t get everywhere!

That’s all for this week, please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. We’ll be back again next week with another four favourites each x

  2. What gorgeous and fun pix! I will be joining in with the hashtag this week, if I manage to snap the kids doing something other than hitting each other 🤣. X #thelist

    1. Ha ha, if they’re having fun while hitting each other it still fits the theme 😂
