Does anyone else feel like the summer holidays are just a distant memory? We’re full on back into the swing of things on the school run and already counting down until half term, then before we know it … Christmas! Before we get ahead of ourselves though it’s time for another #funseekingkids round-up.

I do hope you're not sick of another beach spam shot 😝 today I had a bit of a treat – I went to @ascotracecourse with my lovely Mum thanks to @appletiseruk 💕 We had the most amazing food and watched the races in a private box from the 5th floor which was great! It was also lovely to have the occasion to take my mum out just the two of us, as she does so much for our family. I was pleased to come home to this little toddler tonight as she's feeling a bit poorly with snuffles and I'm hoping it will pass soon!

I think there will be quite a few kids rocking this look this Friday. The first couple of weeks back are always so tiring for them and Friday brings some much needed freedom for everyone.

I'm reliably informed by the wonder that is timehop that a year ago today Miss Belle took her first steps. She was 20 months old and I'd worried and stressed about her walking "late" for months. A year on and it seems like a lifetime ago. But there's plenty of other things stressing me out now too. (Nursery incident form anyone?!) With every milestone that passes another comes along, each ready to push you to what you think is your limit. Only for the gaol posts to then move again. Funny this parenting thing, isn't it?

How time flies. It seems like two minutes since both of mine were like this. I love those cute little baby steps.
