Welcome back to the weekly #funseekingkids round-up post. This is where I will share my 4 favourite photos linked up to mine and Susie’s (This Is Me Now) Instagram Community. If you missed the launch post and have no idea what I’m talking about you can read it here: #funseekingkids – A New Instagram Community.
There was definitely a bit of a theme to the pictures being linked up this week – SNOW. I’m actually a little bit jealous. We’ve had extremely cold temperatures and plenty of black ice and I don’t think it rose above freezing point for more than an hour for five days straight, but no white stuff. I was beginning to think we were the only area of the country that stayed snow free until I spoke to Susie yesterday, and it turns out they didn’t have any either. At least we got our fix from all of your beautiful pictures, here are my favourites for this week:
Wow, this looks like an amazing place to go sledging, plenty of hills to choose from there! You can catch more from Emma on her blog Emmy and The Bears.

A couple of years ago, my lovely friend Sally recommended a great place for getting our Christmas tree from. This year it was made all the better by the snow ! . . . . #beautifulabdn #Aberdeenshire #blairdaff #christmastree #moretoexploreoutdoors #lovescotland #visitscotland2017 #mumsnetbloggers #mumsnetparents #mummyshot #snaphappybritmums #funseekingkids #myhappycapture #Saturdaysiblings #winterinscotland #gloriousbritain #countrykidsfun #mummyshot #myfamilyadventure #curiouslittleexplorers #whatevertheweatherkids #childhoodunplugged #mytinyatlas #mylifeinfourcorners #explorerkids #siblinghoodlove
There’s something magical about going out and picking your Christmas tree, but the snow just adds a whole new dimension of magic to this place. Beautiful. You can catch more from Coral on her blog Way To Much Luggage.
How cute do these two look in their matching outfits. They also look nice a snug, I could do with one of these for walking the dogs in. You can catch more from Amy on her blog The Smallest Of Things.

What else to do on a day the white stuff fell? Roads gridlocked, sadly couldn’t get to a birthday party which was then cancelled, the plan after was to go to a Christmas tree farm but that too was cancelled. We’d not had ‘proper’ snow here for a few years so Willow couldn’t recall being pulled along in a sledge as she was a baby. We froze our fingers & toes off, had a few moans on who was throwing bigger snowballs, then it was back inside for hot choc, bacon sarnies & Home Alone (another first for the girls seeing that film) ❄️☃️❄️ #itsthelittlethingsinlife #makingmemories #lifecloseup #myhappycapture #myfamilyadventures #littlestoriesofmylife #countrykids #lovelifeoutside #adventureoutdoors #childhood #freespirit #simplychildren #lifeoutside #moretoexploreoutdoors #littleloves #getoutside #funseekingkids #ohthefun #enjoyinglife
This is such a great action shot. I can’t wait till we get enough snow to take the kids sledging, I may even have to relive my youth and have a go myself.

Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:
Susie and Miss Belle may not have had any snow, but nothing says Christmas like a photo in front of the Christmas tree in your dressing gown.
That’s all for this week, please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. We’ll be back again next week with another four favourites each x
