Welcome back to the weekly #funseekingkids round-up post. This is where I will share my 4 favourite photos linked up to mine and Susie’s (This Is Me Now) Instagram Community. If you missed the launch post and have no idea what I’m talking about you can read it here: #funseekingkids – A New Instagram Community.
#funseekingkids is one year old!!!! Well, its actually a bit older if you take into account the weeks we took off over Christmas but the 52nd round-up feels like a big deal. It’s also time to announce a few changes.
Since Susie and I started this community both of our situations have changed; Susie has another child to look after and I’ve started a new full time job. This means we both have less time than we would like to spend on our blogs each week. We both love this amazing Insta community and seeing all the gorgeous pictures you all post each week and want to keep it going, we just need to ease the pressure a little.
So, moving more in line with other instagram communities, going forward the roundup posts will be taking place on the 1st Thursday of each month rather than weekly. There’s no way we could only pick four each out of a whole month’s worth of gorgeousness though so we will be choosing eight favourites each instead.
Now back to this week and this bunch of cheeky monkeys:

I think we were all probably making this face when the sun finally made an appearance this week (at least on the inside)! You can catch more from Craig on his blog Rambling Dad.
Oh my word, this is just the cutest picture ever, what a gorgeous smile. You can catch more from Aimie on her blog The Geordie Bairn.
I love the three very distinct, but equally cheeky, personalities on display in this picture. These family pictures are always the best.
Bless him, such simple pleasures. My two are the same if one of the cats comes and sits on them. You can catch more from Jessica on the Children’s Parties website – Magical Quests.
If you’ve been featured please feel free to grab your badge below and display it on your blog:
A big thank you to everyone who took part. You can check out Susie’s favourites over on her blog This Is Me Now. Please also click on the pictures and share the love by giving these amazing Instagramers a follow.
Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:

How was your weekend? We had my parents here, so lots of nice food (and drink!), a trip to @churchfarmstowbardolph (the sun had his hat on, she bounced and she fed a lamb). Today we’ve had a friend’s birthday party and she’s got her new trampoline up.. so prepare for lots of bouncing spam! Little Man is in a challenging phase where he will only nap for 30 mins 4 times a day and goes mental when I try to put him down after being fed or rocked to sleep. I felt frazzled today and tonight had a moment where I thought I’d just been rubbish for both of them today. Neither gets my full attention or best “Mumming” at the moment. But, I’m sure they’re actually fine, they’re happy and healthy and we’ve had a nice weekend. Tomorrow I’m going to try and rest a bit more.. starting with a bath and doing my nails tonight.
These little lambs are so cute and its clear Miss Belle thinks so too. How cool that she got to feed one!
That’s all for this week, please keep adding #funseekingkids to all your pictures of your kids having fun, we are loving seeing them all. We’ll be back again on the first Thursday in May (3rd) with eight favourites each x
