I think my choices sum up this week pretty well. The weather seems to have been a complete mixed bag with some people experienced beautiful sunshine and others (me included) have had rain and wind. There were so many amazing pictures linked up again this week and as always choosing between them was extremely hard. In fact this week I got it down to 12 and my husband helped me chose the final four from there.

Despite the fact that the rain is relentless this morning we had a lot of fun at our very first Forest School session. Totsy loved it, making mud pies, bug hunting and splashing in the puddles. When my oldest was young he used to hate the rain and jumping in puddles was never an option. My youngest on the other hand LOVES the rain and jumping in puddles and would happily do it all day if we let her. It seems Nikki’s daughter is the same and I love this shot of her mid splash. We love a visit to a farm where you can hand feed the animals but these deer are just too cute. Sarah’s daughter looks mesmerised by these beautiful animals. It’s not everyday you get to meet Bambi. You can read more from Sarah on her blog MumMuddlingThrough.

This shot from Steph is perfectly timed. At first I thought they were just jumping and then I noticed the toy at their feet. It looks like a really great game for a sunny day. You can catch more from Steph on her blog Renovation Bay-Bee.

We had a great time playing in the mud @the_bear_trail on the weekend. There's nothing quite like wearing the #kids out in the sunshine!

Hattie’s daughter takes muddy puddles to a whole other level in this photo. She looks like she is having so much fun running this muddy obstacle course and I love the look of determination on her face, she’ll go far! The dare devil strikes again! Miss Belle is definitely getting braver. We had lunch out on Saturday at a pub in North Norfolk with a fab playground and this was the first time Miss Belle went over something like this on her own. This may be the most adventurous thing we do all week. Got a quiet one other than our usual classes. I'm on the holiday countdown. 3 more weeks!

One of my favourite things about being a parent is watching my kids grow in confidence and try new things. That’s why I love this picture of Susie’s daughter. She has hit that age now where she’s slowly beginning to test the waters and do more things on her own, it’s such a lovely thing to see. Not always great for the nerves though!
