After everything that happened in Manchester on Monday night Susie and I did consider not posting a roundup this week. But, looking at all your amazing pictures full of children showing so much joy lifted our spirits and we felt spreading the love may be just what was needed right now.

There’s only one thing more perfect than enjoying an ice cream in the garden on a sunny day, and that’s doing it in a beautiful party dress. I love the look of contemplation on her face too, so sweet.

Making cookies is always fun (eating homemade cookies is even better), but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone as excited and happy as Natalieβs daughter in this photo. That smile is infectious. You can catch more from Natalie on her blog Mum In Brum.

I love seeing the relationship children have with their pets, but it’s not very often you see one with a snake. I’ve always wanted a snake but I can’t stand the idea of feeding it, I’m too much of a wimp. I’m very jealous of Helen’s son Alfie in this picture, and what a beautiful snake too. Finally, I wanted to share my favourite picture from Susie this week:
So I'm spending *slightly* less time blogging and on social media at the mo. Today we had gym class and then my friend and her kids came over to play after lunch. It was so lovely running round the garden playing tag (and screaming "don't pour the sand in the water table!") and I didn't take ANY photos. I just enjoyed being in the moment. We are going away soon and I can't wait for a proper break. On Tuesday when it was sunny me and my girl enjoyed a spot of sunbathing in the garden. She's got it down π don't you think? Preparing for June!
Miss Belle has certainly got the hang of sunbathing, I’m loving her chilled out pose here. Fingers crossed this gorgeous weather will last long enough for us all to get a spot of sunbathing in!
