In a bid to get back into regular posting again, next week (5th Feb) I’m going to be starting the #ABC123Challenge being run by Karen from Two Tiny Hands. You can read more about the challenge from Karen herself here.
In a nutshell, the challenge is to create three pieces of content each week (on the blog or Instagram) using that week’s letter of the alphabet as inspiration. So next week of course is all about the letter A, the following week it will be B and so on for the next 26 weeks.
With the other regular posts I have scheduled there’s no way I could fit in three extra blog posts each week, plus I need space to fit in anything else that may come up at the last minute, so I’ve come up with a plan that should fit around my other commitments nicely. Here are my three ‘topics’ for the challenge:
- I will be starting an ‘A-Z of self-care for busy parents’ series on the blog.
- I will post at least one instagram post relating to that week’s letter.
- An extra blog post each week that could be related to blogging, parenting, personal development, part of the Words To Live By series, or something personal to/about me.
I’ve spent the last week jotting down as many ideas for each letter as I could come up with and while I have more than enough options for some letters, for others (x) it’s proving a little more difficult. I’m really looking forward to the challenge though and I’m hoping it’s going to get my writing juices flowing again after a bit of a lull.
