I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for gifts that are little bit unique and have that personal touch. So when the lovely people from Twenty Fingers asked if I’d like to review one of their amazing handmade papercuts I was over the moon.

Twenty Fingers offer truly unique personalised gifts, ideal for weddings, anniversaries, christenings. Find out what we thought of ours ...

Twenty Fingers is family run business and all of their products are lovingly handmade to order using only natural materials. The husband and wife duo put so much care and attention into every piece and it really shows.

So what is a Papercut? It’s a beautiful piece of artwork carefully cut from a single sheet of paper.

One quick look at their homepage and you can see that they have a papercut for every occasion. Whether you’re looking for a gift for a Christening, a Wedding, an Anniversary, a Birthday, or just want something to brighten up your own walls, they’ve got you covered.

They can make gorgeous family trees (with or without photos), portraits taken from a photo you send, quotes (any – you supply the quote). As each piece is handmade to order the customisation options are seemingly endless, from the names, pictures, words, embellishments, down to the colour of the paper and the frame.

When it came to choosing a product from their range I was really torn. I love them all and was tempted with either a picture of the kids or a quote. But, my parent’s 30th Wedding Anniversary was coming up and I knew they would love something like this.

In the end I decided to be a good daughter and opted for a Love Tree Papercut personalised with their names and the date of their wedding.

Within just a few days of providing my details the papercut arrived bundled in lots of bubble wrap to keep it safe during delivery. On opening the bubble wrap I discovered it was also beautifully wrapped in brown paper with a cute gift tag. This was huge bonus for me and definitely better than any wrapping job I could have done.

I couldn’t wait to give it to my parents, not just to see their faces but I was also desperate to get a good look at it too. And let me tell you, it’s even more beautiful when you see it in person.

Needless to say, my parents absolutely loved it and it’s now up on the wall in their living room. Think I scored serious brownie points with this one!

Twenty Fingers Love Tree Papercut

If you’re on the lookout for a special and unique gift I highly recommend checking out Twenty Fingers. The Papercut I chose retails at £59 which I think is really reasonable considering the detail involved and the level of service you get. I will definitely be using them in the future.

  3. Wow, this is cool. I used to be an illustrator, and everything I did was made of cut paper. It was so much fun and this takes me back there. I love this! xoxo #MondayStumble
